Viva Palestina Malaysia started a project at Baddawi Camp, North Lebanon.

Baddawi camp was established in 1955 by UNRWA for Palestinian refugees and is extremely congested with 25,000 inhabitants and new arrivals numbering 12,000 Syrians coming here as well.

Al Haneen Centre works with 250 special needs children suffering from cerebral palsy, blindness , paraplegia, mental retardation, etc at the camp.

Under this project we provided medicines , diapers , water mattresses, walkers and wheelchairs , as well as covered the cost of physiotherapy sessions. Alhamdulillah a total of 83 disabled children benefited from this project , implemented by Dr Majdi and Alshifaa Medical Services
