VIVA PALESTINA MALAYSIA'S PROJECT: SPONSORSHIP OF AN OUTREACH PROGRAMME IN GAZA, PALESTINE

Remember we used to share an information for sponsorship of an Outreach Programme in Gaza, Palestine?

They are looking for individuals/organizations to sponsor their programme for at lease one (1) year. Their programmes involve (amongst others) ferrying sick patients for dialysis/treatments, and providing free transportation services for deserving students to schools/universities.

Viva Palestina Malaysia is sponsoring one van for one year. They are currently doing the necessary changes to the van to include our logo as shown in the photo. They have eleven (11) other vans that are in need of sponsorship. Do let us know if you are interested to sponsor one or two.

Estimated Number of Beneficiaries: 10,000
Project Budget: US$16,000 (one year)
This project is funded through our Emergency Appeal Fund for Palestine.

RAMADHAN 2022 - Food Basket & Iftar @ Palestine

For the last many years, Viva Palestina Malaysia (VPM) has been providing Ramadhan food baskets to the impoverished Palestinians. Thousands of families have benefited from this annual campaign through your generosity. Every year, more than 2000 families benefited and this year we hope to reach more.

Each family will be given a food basket which consists of basic provisions that may last them the whole month of Ramadhan. The RM200 will provide one food basket and one Iftar meal for a family of 5. However, you may donate any amount.

Campaign ends: 25 April 2022

VIVA PALESTINA MALAYSIA'S PROJECT: WINTER PROJECT FOR PALESTINE

In total, we managed to raise RM62,211 (+/- US$14,600) for our WINTER PROJECT FOR PALESTINE CAMPAIGN which ended on 31 December 2021.

We have allocated and transferred funds for the following (additional funds were topped up from our General Fund):

GAZA: 300 Food Baskets US$10,500
GAZA: Winter Jackets for Kids, Blankets & Heaters US$14,600
HEBRON, WEST BANK: Jackets for kids and Blankets US$5,000
SYRIA (PALESTINIANS IN REFUGEE CAMPS): Jackets for Kids US$5,000.

Sharing some photos of winter aid distributions in Hebron, West Bank. About 65 families benefitted from this project.

VIVA PALESTINA MALAYSIA'S PROJECT: SPONSORING CARPET FOR REDWAN CENTER FOR MEMORIZING AL QURAN, GAZA

This is Redwan Center for Memorizing Al Quran, the Center Committee requested for sponsorship to cover for additional cost of carpeting for 200 square meter; for the comfort of their students in Quran memorizing. Viva Palestina Malaysia decided to sponsor for this project.

Project Budget: US$3,000

Number of beneficiaries:
Students: 220 students.
Mhafzeen: 35 (teachers).

VIVA PALESTINA MALAYSIA'S PROJECT: REHABILITATION A ROOM FOR THE DENTAL CLINIC AT PATIENT FRIEND'S BENEVOLENT SOCIETY, GAZA, PALESTINE

This project started in early November 2021, and has just been completed this week.

We managed to convert this room to a fully functional dental clinic which will benefit hundreds of patients.
