Razan Fund

Every Friday since 30th March 2018, 65 weeks in a row, Palestinians in Gaza have been protesting at the borders demanding the right to return to their lands and an end to the seige imposed by Israel. In 65 weeks of protests, 306 Palestinians have been killed and 17,000 injured by Israeli soldiers. Among the martyrs are medics Musa Abu Hassanein, Razan Al-Najjar, Abdullah Al-Qatati and Muhammad Al-Jadili , and we at Viva Palestina Malaysia have decided to support this Great Return March by funding salaries of medical staff at NCCR who do home visits for the injured. Follow up care is essential for them as infection can lead to permanent injuries and amputations. Fatma Al Ghussain of NCCR has-been working tirelessly to ensure home visits and physiotherapy will continue despite Zionist pressure on their European donors.

Medical Support for those injured during GRM

People in Gaza are so resilient - but we need to help them. They have been protesting at the closed borders demanding freedom and the right to return to their stolen lands.

Since the Great Return March began 7 months ago, over 200 people (including 37 children!) have been deliberately targeted and killed by Israeli soldiers and over 23,000 injured. Gaza hospitals can't cope due to lack of funds to pay medical staff and buy medicines.

Viva Palestina Malaysia has started the Razan fund to provide support by paying for minor surgeries and paying salaries of unemployed nursing graduates to help them gain experience and ease the staff shortage. (Youth unemployment is 70% in Gaza). We also provided medicines in the first phase of this project.
