FEED A FAMILY THIS RAMADHAN and FUND AN IFTAR AT AL-AQSA MOSQUE

Posted in Fund Raising

For the last six years, VPM has been providing Ramadhan food baskets to the impoverished Palestinian. Thousands of families have benefited from this annual campaign through your generosity. Last year 2,000 families benefited and this year we hope to reach more. Each family will be given RM200 basic provisions which will last them the month of Ramadhan. These food baskets will be distributed to Palestinian families in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and southern Turkey. And once again, this year's campaign includes funding Iftar at Masjid Al Aqsa. You may donate any amount as every little bit helps.“Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person, without any reduction in his reward”  (At Tirmidhi)To donate:

Report on campaign in 2015

Via this project Salam Society for relief and development provided the basic needs to the families during Ramadan by providing them Ramadan voucher card where they went to shops and bought what they really need from foodstuffs such as (Rice, Sugar, Tea, Chickpeas, Spaghetti, Cooking Oil, Cheese, Frozen Fish, Milk, Juice, Eggs…etc.), and this allowed the beneficiaries more flexibility, liberty and opportunity to choose or select items and quantity that they require for Ramadan month, in addition it enabled them to buy more nutritious food, e.g. fish, vegetable, meat, milk etc…

These impoverished people feel happy when they know that this aid is funded from their Muslim brothers living overseas.
